this is not Kings Lynn Church, the correct name is St Margrets Church, Kings Lynn

Both of you are partially correct. The swastika is an ancient symbol meant to imply good fortune and health. However, in World War II the Nacional Socialist German Workers' Party (nazi, for short) decided to adopt the symbol for their party. Howeverr, this IS NOT THE SAME SYMBOL. Hitler perverted the symbol by adding a circle around the swastika and rotating it 45 degrees onto its corner. This symbol implies strength, power, and domination. However, the un-angled symbol is meant for good luck. This is why the British government building decided to put this on the building when it was built. The symbol IS NOT A NAZI SYMBOL!!!

Strange to see the house where I grew up on Google Earth! It came as quite a shock. I hope you are happy living there, we were. 1955-1970 (until I left home)
