Nice photo I visited this spot on a recent visit. My father lived on Charles St two blocks away from here.

My Father picked up newspapers before He went to school about 86years ago for sixpence per week , on these platforms. LCGI.

This is a comment for the saddo who suggested I move the map position for this photo because "You can't stop on a motorway to take a photo,more likely taken from a bridge" he/she suggested!!! Well try this out for size......idiot "I WAS TRAVELLING IN OUR CAR ON,SUPRISE SUPRISE,THE M61 WHEN I TOOK THIS PHOTO! BTW.....MY WIFE WAS DRIVING AT THE TIME!! Jeesh,some people have far toooooo much time on their hands.....you complete jobsworth. Get a life....ha ha ha ha

Viewing Google Earth. Picture takes me back to when I used to go to St. Marks School. It was directly across the field,(now the motorway) from the churches east window.What memories a map and photo can bring. thank you. David Lee . Canada.
