In 1951 & 1952 I used to catch a train and go to Frankfort once a month on a three day pass. I would save my cigarettes and coffee ration and in Frankfort bahnhof exchange them for franks and spend a very nice three days. I was with the 2nd Armoured Division (Hell On Wheels).

This house was the old railwaystation from Rodenbach.
Auch dieses Stellwerk ist dem Abbruchhammer zum Opfer gefallen.

Leider wurde das letzte, fast im Originalzustand erhaltene, Bahnhofsgebäude der Bachbahn, Ende Oktober abgerissen.

Leider ist dieser Bahnhof Ende Oktober 2010 abgerissen worden!
