Florentine,

Thanks for your appreciation and Like. As with your picture of the village, this site in Aruba is always full of people and it took some time to remove them all. MikeS

Thank you for your comment,

These Hovercraft were used for the Dover to Calais trip across the English Channel,

Last used in October 2001.

This image taken around 1995.

I am not sure if there are any still in use anywhere

Roger,

I saw many things when I walked along the Ramblas in Barcelona but I did not see this one.

Good morning from UK, Roger.

I am happy that you like my images of Cruise Ships.

I prefer to go to warm climates on my cruises (except for the one to Alaska - which was stunningly beautiful and not really that cold !!)

I am awaiting confirmation of membership to a Ship Group where I will be posting my many images of ships I have sailed on or have seen in the various ports we have been lucky enough to visit

Regards

MikeS

JB,

You must be a traveller in another dimension because the Queen Mary 2 was not built until around 2004.

And the original Queen Mary has been in Long Beach, California since around 1967.
