My name is Johanan Ben Israel Järvinen, and I am 45 years old master of science, botanist biologist, off shore captain, amateur pilot, amateur astronomist, geologist and geographist. I live in Mänttä-Vilppula town in Kolho village that was elected the best place to live in Finland 2010 among 13 other towns and villages. I have a restaurant and Camping Liida's Inn Ltd (Liidan Kievari Oy, www.liidankievari.fi). My pics are mainly from Finland, but I have some pics from Israel, Holland, Peru, Belgium and Estonia too. I am interested in lakes, rivers, swamps, bogs, water lands and water systems, glacial formations, for example eskers, and bridges. Many pics are originally slides (diapositives) that I photographed again with a digital camera Canon EOS 400D (also most of pics 2008-2014 taken by it). Original slides were taken by Konica FS-1 (1992-1995) and Canon EOS 500 (1996-2007). I have photographed historical pictures from different books and sources too. Thank you for posting these pictures in this valley. Did you go up this valley on a bicycle? Was there any water? I am thinking about biking up here on a tour.
