Hi Peter no i didn,t receve your comment on Curzon street station dont know why.This site hasn,t worked properly for ages im still waiting for pics from the begining of sept to be acceped still.back to the pools my frend took me there and we had a good walk round had a look at the old sandwell priory its very overgrown and the yobs have graffetti it as well still a great place to visit.Best Wishes Roger

Hi Roger
Having seen this hostelry several times, but not participated in its beverage, I never remember it being painted claret and blue. Perhaps in the old days it was too near a cop shop to park a car.
However, I do remember having a pint in a pub near St. Andrews that was Atkinsons, so that shows you how long ago it was. Come to think of it it was not painted blue and white!
Now I have to get the map out to find the street.
