In the summer of 1966 I rode my bicycle to the Armistice sight every day as it was the only spot where you could always find Americans to talk to !

During the summer of 1966 my family lived in LeFrancport while my father worked at a nearby chemical factory in Ribecourt. It was unusual for an American family ( with 5 kids !) to be living in the French countryside. We really enjoyed that summer and found the French people in that area to be very nice.
