JB, It was a 30 second exposure. I knew where the lighting was occurring more often and took many shots. There were a few strikes per minute I just happened to catch this in one of many attempts. You are likely to have more success with a wider lens but I wanted the detail so I shot zoomed in at 106.mm.

A rather large zone approximately 10 - 15 meters of the tidal zone was colored with blue green algae in the sand.
