This is a wonderful picture - L

Kind regards, Finn

It's like an old painting! So artistic!

The train is accessed from the new, higher access point, and there is no access to the carriages now from the old platform. Passengers enter by a single door, where the conductor checks the tickets. Tickets need to be pre-booked. Nice picture again! There are (or were) occasional trips through to Collie by steam train run by the Hotham Valley people; I came on one myself back around 1974. Normal train from Perth, then into the steam train in Pinjarra; a ride up the hill and a barbecue served by locals up in Collie. I did take a photo, but it's not very good. Well, it looks better now. They stopped the train at a particular point on a bend specialy for people to take photos.

Like,well done,greetings Leo

Glorious and heartbreaking. I was looking Dinninup up last night after seeing another of your pics;l if I'd seen this . . .

Thanks Roger, yes I did know that.. One of those Krauts put a bullet into my dads skull in Warsaw... We were well versed in Kraut salutes..
