Quite so Roger, thanks ... Krystyna this was a ww2 155mm artillery gun emplacement. Was built to defend Brisbane from the Japanese. Erosion of the land has all but destroyed it. Thanks for visiting. 😊

Stuart, Drew & Berend NZ i believe would be very much the same as tasie but for the trees. a beautiful spot but was a very dull rainy day only small NZ native trout would be here none of the big oversea ones. this and all the ones about auckland where dry but it has rained quite well so a bit of water here. love to see this in the middle of winter. thanks Steve
