It is light blue in those areas, you are not seeing things. That is sometimes a side-effect of HDR processing. It all depends on the settings on how harsh it looks. The program I use usually comes up with the optimal settings on its own. If you adjust it to far you can come up with some really harsh looking shots! Had I noticed it before I uploaded it and wanted to take the time I could have photo-edited it to match the rest of the sky.
