Hello kgram, first of all, Ottomans are not Turks. Yes, Turks used to live in tents as nomads, but Turks make only the %10s of Ottoman population. Ottoman Culture is a very mixed culture. You can see traces of Greek culture, Arab culture, mostly Persian culture. These houses also have traces from all these cultures. So it not wrong to address this architecture as Ottoman style.
