I am a professor of Mass Communication at Winona State University in southeastern Minnesota. I teach journalism, photojournalism, public relations, publication design, and media courses.
In my classes, I suggest that pictures of people are almost always more interesting than pictures of things. My images on Panoramio and Google Earth explore the significance of place. I'm especially interested in studying and preserving places considered sacred by American Indians, the original people of North America.

Thanks.... I haven't been shooting Catholic Churches lately. But it is something I like to do... kind of recording them for history's sake. I'll get going on that again some day. Thanks for your kinds words.

This building was to small for Green County. So they had to build a new Courthouse in 2008. Green County still has offices in it, but the Monore chamber of commerce has most of the space in the building.
