Yes in the occasion of my visit it was very simple to get access to every place in Craco, nobody was there to control and we didn't notice any sign ban to enter.
As a matter of fact we were guided inside the ruins by a young boy who was working as a shepherd during his summer holidays.
I hope that in the more than 5 years passed since my visit, things have remained unchanged.
