Back in the 90s I was told that this field was used by law enforcement for target practice. One day while driving past the field I saw 3-4 black suburbans with limo tint parked in front of the field. I didn't hear any shooting but that was all I needed for confirmation.

I agree with Cham Green. The pin in South Baltimore is way wrong. This building is at Fleet St and S Exeter St (Google Street View). And while it's across the street from Little Italy, I think most people in Baltimore would call this Harbor East.

Played in this area as a child,lived rite up the road.Anyone who grew up here played around this mill site go north up river use to be old cannon placements also.Thanks for the walk down memory lane
