This is the 'L' shaped tenement built after 1753 to house the furnace workers. It is privately owned. The building to the right is original and served as the Taynuilt post office at one time. The building to the left is reconstructed. The other wing, barely visible to the extreme left once housed the Paterson Bakery (Dugald Paterson) until the early 20th century. The Paterson family took up residence 2 miles away to the south at Gorstain (or Gorsten).

The number 58 is the number of the picture, not of the house.

Nor Wiki or any of the other pages I looked at don't say anything about it.
