I love this city and im mainly focused on the downtown like you because it needs a big update i hope they renovate and fix hotel grim and mcarty because it s the tallest building in texarkana

WOW.. I was a senior in high school back then... Texarkana has made some big strides since then... but needs a lot more. I like your pics.. a lot more professional than mine haha

yeah the construction on interstate will continue untill Dec 2010 according to Texdot. The place is really different from when I left in 2003 for the Army. I come home every now and then and take pictures of the progress. Downtown is my main focus

First brick building built in Texarkana.

This old grocery store is currently being renovated. Last I heard this is going to be loft apartments.

You can see the work being done on the new Silver Moon complex on broad street at the time of this photograph. Hopefully we will have more to come!

This building has an auditorium inside and as a matter of fact Johnny Cash made an appearance in this once lively attraction. It is currently in the works of being restored and will even host musical events in the near future.
