Thanks, ayuyao! I appreciate your comment! I like this image, too, and was lucky to get it. Oddly enough, I have yet to make an enlargement of it for my wall. Go figure.
It's a small park of sorts off of a main road. I just looked at my GPS mapping program and I'm having a hard time finding that spot again because of the topography and I'm not well familiar with the area. It's obviously up on the hill and I am looking for that spot on the GPS map - or something close. The mapping program doesn't show elevations so that doesn't help and I can't remember the name of the main road that runs north - south on the eastern part of west Seattle. I may have gone down a side side that led towards the edge of the hill. It defintely was a little area for sitting and looking, whatever. I will get back to you soon whether I find the exact spot or not. I would have had to have taken that photo back in 2000 or 2001, the last time I've owned a car.
Is there a way to see other people's tags for their photos? I couldn't find your image.
Thanks for the compliment.
I was on the shore, sitting down right next to the water line, shooting towards the SE from the NW side.
Go west on 16 to 24th St NW and take a left to...Jahn Ave turn left, then Stone drive to the left which turns into Lucille and then into Doc's drive, take it down to the water...

If this picture was taken from where it is placed on the map you would not be able to see Mt. Rainier in the background.
