This is actually the second building where Texas Lodge #177 was held. The original building was in the area where Town and Country sits now. This building interestingly was built in 1895. The current Lodge is on Dooley St in Houston.

this is a eastern star head stone, easter star is part of the masonic lodge, its for the wives or daughters or grand daughters of masons, the hand on the left represents a wife or daughter, the hand on the right is of the husband or father, i hope this helps out. I grew up in this little town of Tyrone, MO. The old general store is where we bought a lot of our groceries. We lived about 2 miles down the dirt road just past the store on the right hand side. This brings back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting this pic. Rhonda S.

Hey satellite guy! Do you think its possible to run up to the tower from the bottom of the trail to the top? Have you heard or seen anyone do it? I've always wondered if someone had the guts to make it to the top, but it could remain as an unsolved mystery.
