This little rise is part of what was once called Merry Hill (possibly on account of sloe trees nearby), and which has been reshaped over the centuries to factory land, railway, and now urban forest.

There's a fair bit of fly-tipping in the area, not least because most of the houses have been knocked down and factories shuttered, so that it's got the character of an urban wilderness.

Good going! Surfing Denver I ran into this. It's not often something makes me laugh. When I showed it to the people in the office everyone got a kick out of it. WTG

Please add the expletive of your choice to the title in order to more fully appreciate my response to discovering that we were not getting back to central Denver from the south. I have modified the title in response to a comment by Random Connections.
