Thanks for looking at my photos. I was much younger in this one..LOL. I was scheduled to go home the end of January 1970, but got my name drawn to go home on the "Christmas Bird" Dec 26, 1969. I have some fond memories, but would have had more if I hadn't had a wife at home in the states.

This picture is Algeries capital of Algeris in a very popular place called the place of Martyres in front of the Ketchaoua Mosque...

Hello dadrob, thanks for looking at my photos. I know what you mean about the old base. It is still there, but as I understand it, it under the control of the Russians now. I go to Google Earth every now and then and zoom in to look at the barracks and the buildings on the flight line that I worked in. I was there from Oct. 1968 to Dec. 26, 1969 and worked in the MAC Squadron. I was a Pneudraulic Specialist on aircraft, but since MAC had no planes, I worked in the office. Have a great day Bro.
