Former Fire Station (2012). This building was the Malvern Fire Station from 1906 until 1988. It is now occupied by the Firestation Print Studio.

Former Cunningham Estate Agent & Co building (2012). Built in 1891, this company was still advertising in the newspaper in 1939.

'Advance Australia' building (2012). Established in 1888, this may have links to James Fergusson who had a similar coat of arms in a stained glass window in his mansion, Glenferrie in the 1870s.

Former Coughlin's Dairy, dating from the interwar period (1920s-1930s), this is now Sugo Italian Restaurant (2012)

Slips Reserve (2012). Named after Reuben Schlipalius, who was known to several generations of Sorrento residents for his ice cream deliveries along the front beach in the 1940s

'Letters' (2012). Bronze cast by Mornington Peninsula artist Gwen Bridges Mulder, commemorating the 150th anniversary of Mornington township [1861]

Rosebud Library (2012). This hosts a range of special events and regular activities, including storytime sessions for babies and young children as well as internet and computer classes

Rosebud Cinemas (2012). Originally the Broadway Theatre, this moved to the present site in 1977. Twenty years later it was transformed into a six-screen complex

Rosebud Central Shopping Centre (2012). Mornington Peninsula Shire Council bought this site for more than $5 million in September, 2012

Brown Gouge Drycleaners (2012). Although this building was sold in Nov, 2012, the operator of this business says in the local newspaper that he is "not going anywhere".

Red Hill Trading Company and Red Hill House (2012). A memory of rural life in Red Hill South

Red Hill Gourmet Meats (2012). A boutique butcher, winner of many awards, and a sausage king

Epicurean Red Hill (2012). When completed, this will be a restaurant and function venue, incorporating local wine tastings within a Mediterranean-inspired Cucina, Fromageria and Fornaio.

Red Hill Bushland Reserve (2012) - near the site of the former Red Hill Railway Station

Site of the former Red Hill Railway Station (2012). The Bittern-Red Hill railway opened in 1921 and closed in 1953

Former Oz Kiosk [c.1940s], in Pt Nepean Rd, McCrae. Now (2012) part of a private residence

Henry William Wilson (1820-1894) - arrived in Dromana in 1860 and opened a butcher's shop in McCulloch St

Nelson Rudduck (1849-1935) - built a General Store in Dromana and was also a JP and a councillor. He donated the land for the Dromana Bush Nursing Hospital

Emily Purves (1844-1910) - married James Purves at Tootgarook Station. They had a property in Purves Rd, and raised ten children

James Clydesdale - settled on Jamieson's Survey in 1860. He was involved in the timber industry around Dromana

David John Cairns (1885-1908). Son of Henry and Margaret who were early pioneers in the area. They had a property in Boneo Rd, near Patterson Rd, Cape Schank

John Joseph Burrell (1831-1892) - one of three sons of Joseph and Katherine. He did not marry but had significant social contacts with Melbourne autocracy

Joseph Brooks Burrell (1802-1874). In 1851 he purchased the Arthurs Seat Run from Andrew McCrae. The homestead is now owned by the National Trust

Pebble Cove Beach (Nov, 2012). The road above this beach, which links Dromana and Mornington, collapsed in June, 2012. Work continues, to restore it

Hi Muzza, shooda known you'd have a pic of this place. I was Monash Student '71-'73 and spent plenty of time in the "Uni Bar", must have been a goldmine.

Former Victorian State School No.1090 de-registered in 1926. Originally two multi-class classrooms with a headmaster's study. Since extended in the same architectual style and is the Bennett family home.
