My Mum Susan worked here for 4 years and their daughter came to stay with us in England years later!
I don't have any more photos, but bearing in mind that the garden should now be finished, I will head back and update the photo. Should be done in the next few weeks.
The last time I was there was in 1982. Can't comment on what it is like now, although I think it is DOC now and their grub is pretty good if their Mornington place is any indication.
It will be worth hanging on to it if they get approval to build the Marina they are planning
No Bob, I live in Victoria, Australia. My wife and I visited Norfolk Island in 1996 and these photos were taken then. Sorry I can't help you with the close-ups
Hi Muzza. I would like to use this image of Caulfield Primary School because I am working on a project about the architect - Henry Bastow. Can you please contact me about this? Jenny@creativehatinterpretation.com.au
It's difficult to photo the old place. I was standing on the seat of my motorbike with the camera held up over the fence to get this one. They aren't very friendly out there :)
Thanks Mark. After spending 11 years in emergency management and dealing with all the fire and other emergency services, I understand how touchy they can get. I took this photo after seeing it in the Royalauto (RACV) magazine and when I contacted my mate in Ballarat to find out where it was, he provided the information that I included in the caption. I appreciate your comments.
I love your photo's. They remind me of the fantastic country Australia is. I am in love with Victoria and NSW's.
