About 45 years ago I remember buying a plastic model plane there to work on as there was nothing but rain forcast for the weeks that we were spending there in my grandparents beach house just up the hill from this shop.
my Grandma lived in the big house next to this church where I spent many school holidays at her house. These photos have brought back some much loved memories.. thankyou
it doesn't seem like anything has changed in all these years!
Thank you for the picture. My Great Uncle is buried here, so great to see where he is :)
In 1986, there was a large, round, orange "thing" with two slides curling from it on this spot (again, I still have the photos). God so many memories.
I remember being here at the end of 1986 - I even have the photos we took on that very slide! I'm amazed to see that it is still there!
It's beautiful, i like!
Nice view and as always a good description. I took a photo that's virtually identical but this one is framed better. Liked!
Nice photo. But why is it that I, after all these years have NEVER seen a steam train operating anywhere in the Metro system? Must be bad luck.
Nice photo. Interesting that the C.A. Nobelius Gembrook Nurseries Emerald sign is gone now. I find it funny how there's a heritage "No Smoking" sign in the undercover part.
