If you go to Marysville on GE and click on the blue squares, you will find another couple of shots from up there in Dec 2009. I was a bit disappointed that more work has not been done up there, but I suppose that just depends on when/whether the locals want to return.
This photo was taken early in December, 2009. The "1931" refers to when the oval was built.
No, it is a restricted Defence area
Thanks Dave. I will be back down in Geelong shortly - I have a couple more places I want to record. Cheers, MDA
Mr Stone Spy, you can read all about what's happening with this building here: http://www.rmit.edu.au/browse/News%20and%20Events%2FNewsroom%2FNews%2FMedia%20Releases%2Fby%20title%2FO%2F;ID=n697wy2prlqz;STATUS=A
No problems Wal. I will go back down there and see whether I can get some more photos from inside the front gates. If I can, they will be on here within the next week.
Great shot Murray. Of course I'm a touch biased
Thanks for that. I live on the Mornington Peninsula and these beach huts are all the way around the water front. I have a kayak and so I am able to get off the beach to photo things from a different perspective.
