this photo was taken from the cruz, of this neighborhood, in Holguin. It is the location of the picture not from the point that is was shoot from which is away up the hill
I know you want to pay him a peso but please don't give him that much all he will do is buy a small bottle of rum. Give him 10 cents and he will buy some fruit instead. remember a well educated worker only make about $12.00 a mouth here
There is a guide here by the name of Luis he can speak English and Spanish give him a peso after the tour.
This museum displays artifacts from 8000 years ago of the Siboney Aboriginals, and 1000 years ago of the Taino Aboriginals. This museum houses one of the precolumbian pure gold idol found in 1946 there are many articfacts in this museum from all over Cuba. A large collection of necklaces from 5000 years ago to 500 years ago very interesting to see how the workmanship developed
It will only take about 30 min to view everything in this museo
A farmer market during the day and a 30,000 seat baseball stadium at night. It cost 1 peso to get into the game. It dose not matter who is playing you allwise boo and lear who ever is at bat. what a party it is fun just to watch what is happening in the stands.
There is a farmer market held here. Mostley fruits, veggies and meat at really great prices. No trinket for the tourist but if you like fantasic tasting mangos this is the place to be
275m or 460 steps above Holguin. A cross was built here in the late 1700s in hope of relieving a very bad drought. It takes about 30 mins to walk from parque Calixto Garcia to the top or you can take a taxi to the cruz that will take you up the east side of the hill.
