Panoramio's instructions are to place the pointer at the position from which the photo was made, that's why the pointed is located at the side of the Squamish Valley Road. All of our data on World Waterfall Database shows the actual location of the falls, rather than the coordinates of the vantage point from which a photo was taken.

I really like these contrasts which give a special strength to your shot.

Ah you are right. Thanks, I'll update the description and location!

Very nice photo L+F!!. Visit my album.

Nice photo-LIKE 2nd.

Thanks! Kind words are always appreciated. NB has some really nice falls too. I also dig your shot of the upper falls in Johnston Canyon. I ran out of light when I was there...making my last shots a bit after 10PM in the very last vestiges of light, so I didn't get to the upper vantage point.

Magnificent waterfall. Thanks Dean.

Hi Katy,

Thanks for the kind words, they are always appreciated. You have my permission for use.

I've got a question mark icon over the place you mention in my Google Earth placemarks, but didn't know they were considered upper and lower falls. Thanks for the info!
