Greetings Nada, Thanks for the visits and the wonderful comments. The waterfalls at Mt. Rainier come in all sizes. The spring time is the best time to see them because the water is running fast and high. Our visit was in June and the snow was still deep in the higher places and the visitor's center had hardly been dug out. It seems, just the front door. Take care and have a great day. Cheers, Rich

@ Papa Bear...Arizona has two different features called Pumpkin Spring. This photo is almost correct in its location, off by about 300 feet.

Thank you Dean, I love exploring off trail and this area has much to offer. If you get a chance to visit there its worth the effort especially to see Wallalute in person is like visiting a small piece of forgotten history knowing it was documented so long ago.

Not the fiddleheads you want to eat. A good rule of thumb: if they're fuzzy, don't eat them.

How hard/long of a hike is it to get there after the road ends?
