These are actually the ruins of the Marlworks cement factory near White lake. They dredged the lake for the special mud for the marl cement mix. Mills are always near a dam or creek to power the water wheel (and never this big).
I spent the first 25 years of my life in O'burg. Obviously this house wasn't "melting" then...lol. Your photos are terrific. Thanks for the memories, esp. the Edison mine ruins, Fairy Tale Forest, the Backwards Tunnel and the Gingerbread Castle. Your photos may be the only way I see them again, so thank you for your art.
