this photo actually is river vennar(a tributary of cauvery, having its origin at kallanai 30 kms from thanjavur) taken on the vennar bank-palliagraharam commecting bridge . we can see the pumping station(a horizontal boulder like structure spanning across vennar at a distance in this photo)
