I really want to know where the chimney is located. Most of the pictures of Kimbles' at the Lackawaxen are N&D to me. Per the map, just over the river, in Mount Moriah cemetery, lies the grave of Josiah Perry, my paternal g-grandfather. Before the bridge, on the Route 6 side is Hendershot Rd. My
aunt Hendershot was a Perry and there were eleven other siblings of Josiah. Near this point on the river ran Josiah's D&H canal boat, christened 'The Farmer's Daughter.' Family history says both of my parent's families, The Perrys and the Hazens, settled in Pike County after the danger of Indian attack had passed. Lest I forget, Josiah served the Union at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg in the 151st, the only all Pike County group.
