More complex than a little odd but nice structure lol
Great view of the old Riverside-Figueroa Bridge. A replacement bridge is under construction, and this one is being demolished.
The 110 and 5 are in the background. What you really see here is the Riverside-Figueroa, which Google Earth seems never to have heard of.
That photo goes way back! We'd love to hear about the move, even though it happened almost 60 years ago! If you could, send us some info about it to "email@example.com", such as where it went from and to, etc.

Let's hope you are not too tasty, sfxeric, for a mountain lion that is!
I had no clue! Thanks!
This lock fence is located next to 3 churches and a school, where lots of kids pass daily. I think its just something that caught on as a fad. Initially, someone put a lock there and people just started adding old locks for fun. There is no special symbolism to it, although now it has begun to look like some sort of modern art experiment. It is helped by the way the photo was taken, but if you are there walking by it, it doesn't look that impressive or artistic. In fact, it looks sort of more like vandalism of public property. That's what I thought when I first saw it, but after seeing this photo, I said to myself "I know that place". It's also next door to a Bank of America to the east on Hollywood Blvd.
The iconic Capital Records building stands in the background.
