it is, yes. Even more because no one is still that can tell the story from first hand anymore.

I've read a lot of these time. The reasons that lead to that. The Chiefs in Command that got "Halsschmerz" (They wanted to get a medal) and I think it is important to keep them in mind. And what they died for.

Just for example this about Langemark/Ypres...

The ideas they had to die for have gone - the people that spread the ideas have gone. But there is some one may learn from that. That isn't gone.

Later that month we will have our already usual weekend in France. This time I suggested to visit Verdun and its memorial. To keep them in mind. No matter if they're french, italian, british, german or american.
