I am a 1st generatiojn Italian-American living in the city of gracious living. For those of you who don't know, that is teh city of Yonkers, N.Y. I am an avid photographer and always up for meeting new people on this site or Flickr. See above for the link to my Flickr account. I take many photos of my hometown and the surrounding ares of New York. From Schoharie to Staten Island and everything inbetween. All the best, Eugene "Nino"

Title to photograph is inappropriate as this is a military veterans cemetery. Photographer should not be making political/personal comments or views.

sometimes i still ride down that stretch of palmer, after coming up the hill over central and 87... and theres something about the slight curve in that road and the glow of the high pressure sodium lights and peering to left and seeing the old palmer dairy sign (when it was).

Thank you Juan. This is also a popular image on Flickr.

Isn't great! I wish I could have captured more of the beautiful yellow bricks this church has.

Gorgeous perspective!

It seems that its certainly easy to get in. Sooo many explorers/photographers have shot images in here. The Glenwood Power Station is a milking sation for folks who want to take photos of abandoned places in Yonkers.

Gritty...I like this. Proves that Yonkers is not completely suburban and not completely city-ish. I'd say somewhere in the happy middle.
