PGHolbrook's conversations

Sorry but that's not really the truth of it. When our community, not town, was built it was just a pit stop on the ak highway. No one could come up with a name for it so they agreed to name it after a dog, "Tok" who traveled with the road crew

This looks like the ascent of Highway 89 after leaving 108 just below Topaz.

hahaha abandoned.....yeah ok. They were shipped out!

@matthewgjordan You're correct. Those definitely are not cat tails.

This is the old Stone Ranch.

Goldie and her husband, who were caretakers at the ranch, were some of my sister Sylvia's dearest friends. I wish I had the oppertunity to meet Mr. Bigalow, and see some of the supernatural activities that I was informed about taking place here. Alas, My sister passed on before any of that could take place.

I lived in this house from 1945 to 1957. There was a large barn and corrals there. We raised beef cattle and hay. The well was under the porch (on the other side of the portion added to the log part in this picture) and had a high sulpher content. It was a great place to grow up!

L1 Very nice car.
Greetings from the Czech Republic,

Apparently, The Ponderosa is no more...It's been sold and the name changed.....Ben has retired to Florida...Hoss has moved to town & opened a brothel while Little Joe has run off with a band of Gypsies.....or so I've been told.............
