Hi ado089. Thanks for your comment. No, it is not from a fish-eye lens. Actually, it is from no lens at all! Instead of a glass lens, the pinhole camera uses a tiny hole. The fish-eye look of the picture is due to the curvature of the film that bended when it was placed in a can.

いいえ、これはおよそ1930〜1940年代に作られたガラスレンズ付きのカメラです。このくらい古いカメラの魅力とは、自分が生まれる前に造られたということ、造られた当時には想像もできなかったフィルムで、想像もつかなかった景色が撮れるということかと私は思います。 なお、タグに「Pinhole」とあるものがピンホールカメラで撮れた写真およびそれぞれのピンホールカメラの写真がありますのでご覧下さい。

Precisely, the largest in the photo is the YS building. The photo was taken from the building in front of it. In April, the cherry trees in full blossom along the river give an extraordinary panorama.
