The small building in the foreground was built in 1906 and taken down in 2009. It seems to have different names with one being the Savoy Hotel and was the first public building in Houston to have electricy. Interesting demolition. It was a solid brick building and came down fast and easy. Hurricane Ike did more damage to this abandoned building in 2008.
