~Marlene~
THANK YOU, BUT I AM NOT ACCEPTING ANY MORE GROUP INVITATIONS AT THIS TIME!
I have lived most of the last few years on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan in South Haven, MI. The area is known as "The Sunset Coast" for the beautiful sunsets we experience year round. The area was first founded in 1787 by Ottawa, Miami and Pottawattamie Native American tribes who named the land, "Ni-Ko-Nong," or "beautiful sunsets." Lake Michigan is the 5th largest lake in the world with over 1600 miles of shoreline.
Although I will still spend time in Michigan, I am now spending more of my time at our residence in Chicago, which provides great shots on the other side of Lake Michigan. Please make yourself at home in my gallery and enjoy the views, many of which benefit you and the photo by enlarging.

Marlene, the cheese was brought to the edge of town by horse and cart. And was then transported by boats through the city, to the cheese warehouses. Whose former warehouse "city of Rotterdam" is one of them. Here the cheese on the quay helped and then carried through the doors, inside, hoisted. It is in my picture hard to see, but this warehouse consists / consisted of three doors on the ground, first and second floor. The cheese were stored here for sale in the surrounding country's.Because most cheese that was sold in the area, from the warehouses of Edam came, it was named by de people "Edammer cheese". But in Edam cheese was not made, It was made in the Beemster, Schermer, Purmer by local farmers
