Change is welcome, but only if it's well made. Unfortunately, Google has ruined Panoramio...
I have one interest that makes me still visit Panoramio: travel around the world through the lenses of its many members, and i consider a differential of Panoramio (even if many neglect it) the possibility to see the exact position where a given picture was taken.
I have an old legacy account, Google spokesman said they will cut the acess to all legacy accounts sometime, so i don't know for how long i'll be able to acess my account.
Since i became a member of Panoramio in 2007, i always considered foundamental to see the original upload size of each photo, and be able to explore all the detalis is what i like the most.
I thought things were already bad for Panoramio but the situation is still getting worse, now a change in copyright rules made life even easier for photo stealers that artificially bump their popularity to the highest levels with poor Photoshop work and mismapped stolen photos, read more about the issue here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/panoramio-questions-support/AKg0hSSL9ko
