here is a link to some recent shots, I had a few problems with the way my camera handles the light but some came out ok with a few tweaks in paintshop pro.

Hi Cristian, this is several years old but it happens often enough. Even in a back yard, if you can get a clear view of the north, you can see them. You just have to get away from bright lights to let your eyes adapt to the dark. I don't know the address off hand but there is a web site, maybe here in Edmonton, that will give a notice of Aurora activity. If I find it, I'll post it here on the comments for this picture. Kent
