**Thank you for visiting my gallery.** I am an amateur and also a beginner. I find irresistible those landscapes, sceneries and situations that are unique because of their distinctive characters, contrasts, textures and for the incredible energy you can find only in them....those sorts of images that make you feel you want to be there in that precise instant when you see them. Each photo is essentially a unique fleeting moment which will never repeat itself any more and that will stay with you forever. In life everything passes and life itself, flash by in the blink of an eye. Both soaring joys and crushing sorrows fade away like a dream. However, the knowledge of having lived one’s life to the fullest never disappears. Carpe diem. The Man in the Maze 在迷宫中的男 -----------------------------------0o0------------------------ PS my Panoramio gallery doesn't receive private messages or notifications anymore - I am trying to sort this technical problem with the help of the Panoramio team - If you want to message me send me a message on my gallery and I will reply - Hope to sort out this problem soon! Carpe diem. I'm very sceptical about this. On the one hand, we're no organization and on the other hand, Google won't sell the brand name for less money than they have invested. Plus: GE/GM connection would be lost for good ...

Bellissimo portrait Mauro!

Stolen into favorites list!

Perhaps you may want to promote and discuss a new idea to rescue Panoramio which Google may like too! ciao!

I Love the atmosphere of the photo.
I think the most important part of the (NEW) Panoramio is, who will take care of it... Maybe Eduardo Machón has a suggestion?

Great idea ~~~

The Man in the Maze™ said: The (NEW) suggestion: WHY DON'T WE BUY PANORAMIO FROM GOOGLE??? Has anyone thought about buying out Panoramio from Google? After all those are our pictures, what about a proposal to buy based on a fixed cost for each account based on the number of photos? Or anything similar to this? The main problem I would see with this is that we would need a board of people who set up a company, perhaps a charity which can enjoy some public funding, after all photos are art, and then each one of us buys his/her own account from Google? Any similar ideas before Panoramio will disappear?
