This may be the James River, but it's in the wrong location. The James River does not run through Winfield, WV. Do you see a river, except the Kanawha River in this photo?

Hey this is at QWEST! Wow...im about to leave this hole in a few months...im sure its not as bad now as it was back then but it still sucks. It amazes me also how far we've come with tech...we rarely even use gunner turrets now...its a big auto gun like on the stryker apc's on most of the MRAPS and Hummers. Just look through the screen and pull the trigger. I give my thanks to vets like you...it was a different war back then.

I was here in 07-08 and at Hit also. It's now 2010 and these bases have closed down and been turned over to the Iraqis.
