Thanks for the compliment on the picture Luud. I always appreciate when you compliment my pictures.
This area is the Tule Lake National Wildlife Refuge; a system of basins and canals that retain water from the Klamath River system specifically to help wildlife flourish. It's on the "Pacific Flyway" for migrating birds, and is a winter stopover for many of them. As a results, a lot of Bald Eagles also winter here, because of the abundant food stocks.
