I turned off at Fallon, MT. from I-94, taking highway 340 will cross over marsh road, this will take you through farm country and eventually you will drop back down in the yellowstone plateau. If you stay on this drive, you will pass through badlands south of Glendive, MT. Highway 340 - Marsh Road(this is 130) - Route 335 to Glendive.

I turned off Highway 2 at Lothair and went north. The gravel road was good to travel when I drove September 09.
