I agree with Giorgio. The picture is from either Cape Coast Castle or from Elmina which is a few miles west of Cape Coast. When I lived in Cape Coast 1964-1971, the castle was closed to the public, used as a prison for opposition to Nkrumah and then by local police.

Fishing on the Yangtze can be a precarious hobby

There is more to the Yangtze than this industrial scene. Take a cruise downriver and experience the real china... see my photos here: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2165/2056135004_12bff34236_o.jpg

The Jubilee Sailing Trust (also known as the JST) is a registered charity that owns and operates Lord Nelson and Tenacious, the only two tall ships in the world to be designed and built with the purpose of enabling people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side on equal terms.

"The voyage has proved life-changing for me – the JST's motto is 50% disabled and 100% involved - this is so true. I've cooked a meal for 50 crew, helmed the ship across the different seas in the dark and climbed to the crows nest."

Voyage Crew - 2007 On a voyage with the Jubilee Sailing Trust you can learn the historic art of sailing a tall ship and be involved in almost every activity on board including taking the helm, setting sails and keeping watch, regardless of your physical ability. You will discover amazing places, make great friendships and share in the challenge and adventure of sailing a tall ship on the open sea. It is why many people find a voyage with the Jubilee Sailing Trust a truly life-changing experience.

Whether you want to dip your toe in the water with a one-day "taster" sailing experience, spend seven days island hopping in the Canary Islands or be part of the crew in the Tall Ships Races, the Jubilee Sailing Trust can offer you a very special experience. To find out more about our voyages and our destinations, go to Sailing Adventures .
