When I was 11 years old, I attended a photography class with my mother at our local high school. I learned the basics and put this knowledge to use as a photographer for student groups in junior high (student council historian), high school (yearbook staff), and college (newspaper staff). Most of the photos I have uploaded here are drive-by shots taken with a cell phone or simple digital camera to help populate Google Earth. My intention is to share them so people can experience the places that I've been. Although I have been paid as a photographer in the past, I do not consider myself a professional photographer, and these uploads here are by no means my best work. With that said, I appreciate feedback and comments.

I included the old phone booth to give this photo some humor.
I liked this parking lot structure so much; it looks like a modern Caribbean hotel or something...
This building reminded me of a Soviet monument from Ukraine, so I took this pic.
I was involved with the City of West Hollywood East Side redevelopment, and my signature (along with a few dozen other people) is on the final steel beam put in place for this shopping center. I guess that's why I took this pic.
I'm not sure why the coordinators always hold immigration marches on Broadway Street in downtown LA (as opposed to Wilshire Blvd. in front of the Federal Building). The marches end at City Hall, but the Mayor and local government have nothing to do with immigration. I hope they have one in the right place some day- maybe they will get noticed then.
Thank you very much, gerhard weiss, for your visit, kind comment and YS!
