I really hope the new fence has been built this far but I doubt it. If it's up to Mr. Hope and Change, it will all come to a screecing halt. After the illegals are made legal there will be many more on the way. With their propensity to increase their population, they will vote in their own as president not that many years from now. We will have a fully bilingual Hispanic president presiding over a Hispanic majority and the borders may then very well begin desolving. Scary maybe but it's simple arithmatic.

I would like to see this photo pinned on the map. Is it near the US border?

nazi1944 is, in fact, a thief who steals other people's photos. Many, many photos in his gallery are stolen, and he seems to not care. Eventually the ongoing investigation will lead to the deletion of his account, and may even lead to criminal prosecution.

My son works at the next building north, same side, which used to be the border station, but is now a restaurant. The old front portico makes a great patio.

Sure, I'd like to see it. Please send to bill@baron.net Let me know if there are places along the border that interest you. Odds are I have something, if not taken by me then by someone else.

I have posted a photo of it from slightly better days. I guess it looks like a barn (with windows), but it's proximity to the border presents all kinds of possibilities.

Too bad C Molson never answered. To answer your question, his house is only maybe 30 feet from the border. If you look closely, you can see the boundary marker just past the bird bath. He has a flagpole made from a real tree that still flies the maple leaf. Interesting that the road on the US side has almost completely reforested itself. I would love to see a photo of this place when it was still a border station.

Not too many in this area. There's a bunch in Vermont though. That said, there proabably isn't more than a dozen buildings across the country that the boundary runs through (not counting joint border stations).

Yes, they don't usually bother with small barricaded roads like this one, but they did go down Knoxford Road to the border at Listerville. That's a new add because I was just looking there a couple weeks ago and it wasn't there.
