Hi, I live in Rugby and have taken many photos of the town. These are some examples. I sometimes try various software effects on the photos to enhance some aspect. (I can hear a sharp intake of breath from the 'proper' photograghers!;-)) If you are interested in a copy of any photo, please let me know. If you want to use my work, please ask. Handsel.

Handsel's conversations

Hi Handsel, Would you mind me using a few of your images of Rugby town on my local news and information website called: http://www.aboutmyarea.co.uk/rugby I would credit all of the images used to yourself. Please let me know, Thanks, Bri

If you go and hsve a look, you'll notice there is a lamp-post at the LH corner. It isn't in my photo! Lamp-posts have their use and their place... But it's not in my photo!;-)) I just took it out. I was going to take the man out too, but he looks pretty inoffensive... OK, just inoffensive then!;-))

Look at the way God uses the reflected light from the windows opposite, to illuminate the sign and beckon the passers-by in to hear the word of the Lord.

This was taken from the central reservation on Corporation Street - risking life and limb for my art!;-)) It's next to the Fire Station... If the Fire Station is still there! They keep talking of shutting it down and combining it with some other Fire Station. Hopefully it won't be with some London one!;-))

This is a lovely little building, set back from the road and with beautifully kept gardens.

This is attached to the wall on the LH Side of the East Gate in Laurebce Sheriff Street. (Near the Headmaster's House.)

I think you'll be spending a lot of time here soon Nonno Tomo. That choo-choo has your name written all over it.

I'd like a mini marble Cement Works as a headstone.

The spirit of Rupert Brooke gazes down from within its pigeon-splattered bronze shell. Actually he's looking slightly upward - at the roof of No 3 Regent Place opposite - and probably worried about the pigeons or those roof tiles!;-)

Rugby Art Gallery Museum and Library: Yeah it does exactly what it says on the tin. They had a competition for what the building should be called and THAT won! Couldn't they, at least, have called it RAGMAL!;-)))
