Зaсверкали пятки!

From piligrim letter: Dear brethren! I hope that my request will reach your hearts and will be heard by the Lord. I came to your wonderful, unforgettable island in August this year, and it broke my heart to see the Holy Island full of sick, abandoned and badly groomed animals. On one's cat neck a huge bloody wound yawned. Surely no one saw and felt any pain for suffering of these dear God's creatures? On another animal, the whole back was covered with blood. In winter aisle of the hotel sat, dangling his little head, a kitten with inflamed, filled with pus eyes. Every day, seeing such animal suffering was very painful. Why no one helps these poor creatures? Why they are fed high with pieces of dry bread? Why there are no separate saucepans in the kitchen, to boil them food without salt? Needless to mention that availability of veterinarians and medical facilities would greatly reduce the suffering of our "little brothers? With humble respect. Helen.
