I don't live in Williamsville, I was in the area looking for caves. I posted the picture many years after it was taken, and am not sure the location is even accurate. Sorry I'm not much help, good luck with your search.
Great shot of some alpine tundra. I just discovered this area a few days ago on a hiking website and can't wait to visit. I always thought up north and out west was the only place to find this kind of environment. Like.

About 150 of them flew out of that little box in the center of the picture, in a ten minute span.
On a clear day there is a pretty good view from here. You can see Gothics, and far away, mt Marcy.
This spot is now posted "no swimming" and the ropeswing has been removed :(
